Steamboat Willie Arrives
On this day in 1928, Mickey Mouse debuted as Steamboat Willie.
Did you ever notice, that no matter where Mickey Mouse went, in the black and white days, he never carried any luggage? In fact, I think the only Disney character I have ever seen with a suitcase of any kind was Goofy, and it wasn’t Zero Halliburton that’s for sure. I may be mistaken, but I think he’s the only one that brings a change of clothes when he travels.

Pardners Debuts On The Silver Screen
One day after Jerry Lewis and Dean Martin performed together for the last time, the movie “Pardners” was released.
Their final performance took place exactly ten years after they began performing together, and the nightclub, condo hotel, and movie industry has never been the same. Then again, by the time they stopped performing together I’m not sure too many people would have been interested in producing another movie with them, although I think it would have been good, as I am a huge fan.
