Pray For Flash

Our dog Flash has been limping for the last week or two, so we took him to the vet today. It turns out he has cancer. We have another appointment on Tuesday to find out how bad it is, and what we can do for him.

I’ve known people who had cancer, and one guy who had mesothelioma. I never had a dog that got it though. I know to many of you he is just a dog, but he’s a part of our family and I would appreciate some prayers if you’re so inclined.

Shuffleboard Anyone?

The kids are really enjoying their “activity” table they got for Christmas. If they are not playing billiards, they are playing one of the other many games, like shuffleboard.

We were going to get them something completely different, but they have proven once again that we don’t know what we’re doing. I’m glad we decided to get that instead of installing fiber optic cables throughout the house or something.

Icy Grill

It’s snowing right now. It’s been snowing for about an hour at house.

This is the time of year that I really start looking into home gyms and stuff like that. In fact, I was just telling the wife that I want a treadmill that I can set up behind the couch, so I can walk while I watch “The Biggest Loser”. Something tells me I would get a good workout if we had one here.

I Wonder What I Did

You know you’re in trouble when the dog sticks his tongue out at you. He did this about half a dozen times tonight. Everytime I looked at him.

The last time he looked at me that way we had to re-stock all of our medical supplies because I smashed my leg into some old curtain rods and ended up with a huge gash in my leg. I don’t think he was mad, but he did end up with a lot of treats tonight because of it.

Crazy Times At The Pool Hall

As you saw in a previous photo. the kids got a 14 in 1 game table. Not only does it have foosball, but it also has billiards. I forgot how competitive people get when they play a good dame of 8-ball.

I can hardly wait til they discover air hockey. If I’m not careful I will have to invest in some self defense products just to make sure they don’t kill each other.
