Old Man River
On this day in 1944, Frank Sinatra recorded ‘Old Man River’.
Why is it that all the old stars looked like they had perfect skin and never seemed to be overweight? Did they actually have better skin back then? Were television cameras so generous that they took off pounds rather than making people look bigger?
I imagine these days it takes a lot more tricks from the makeup department and a little bit of Hydroxycut to make some stars look good enough on camera.
