On this day in 1791, our nation’s 15th president was born. Can you name him?

He was born the child of Scottish Presbyterian parents and was educated at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

He served in the Pennsylvania legislature , the U.S. House of Representatives, and the U.S. Senate. He also served as Secretary of State under President James K. Polk.

Any idea yet?

He remains our nation’s only bachelor president. Who was he?

He was James Buchanan, and now you know.

It amazes me how many memories the human brain can store. I can remember a ton of stuff I learned about U.S. Presidents in high school, and I have never needed a ram upgrade on my brain. My computer, however, is another story.
