Patsy Cline Is Walking After Midnight
On this day in 1957, Patsy Cline appeared on Arthur Godfrey’s Talent Scouts and her career was launched.
Patsy Cline died at the age of 30 when the plane she was riding in crashed near Camden, Tennessee.
Time is really flying, it always seems too when we look back at the past. I wonder if the Rolex President has developed a way to measure that time?
We Welcome Nathan Birnbaum To The World
On this day, in 1896, Nathan Birnbaum was born. We knew him better as George Burns.
I bet when he was born people still made their own baby furniture that didn’t have to follow all of the strict guidelines that today’s society requires. It amazes me how well some companies handle safety, whether they’re making strollers, high chairs, or even baby cribs. People just didn’t seem to worry so much back then, at least they didn’t show it. These days, if some people didn’t have guidelines to follow they might just forget they were parents at all.
Icy Grill
It’s snowing right now. It’s been snowing for about an hour at house.

This is the time of year that I really start looking into home gyms and stuff like that. In fact, I was just telling the wife that I want a treadmill that I can set up behind the couch, so I can walk while I watch “The Biggest Loser”. Something tells me I would get a good workout if we had one here.

I liked sitting down to watch the Jeffersons back when I was younger. Yes, I can’t say I was a ‘kid’ but I was younger. I always liked Florence, the maid, and I thought Louise Jefferson was in severe need of a progesterone shot or something. Yeah, I know, I think weird like that sometimes.
I Wonder What I Did
You know you’re in trouble when the dog sticks his tongue out at you. He did this about half a dozen times tonight. Everytime I looked at him.

The last time he looked at me that way we had to re-stock all of our medical supplies because I smashed my leg into some old curtain rods and ended up with a huge gash in my leg. I don’t think he was mad, but he did end up with a lot of treats tonight because of it.
