What Are The Benefits?
I know a lot of people who like to use an unlocked phone so they are not locked into using any particular provider for their cellphone coverage.
I, on the other hand, am very happy with my T-Mobile Wing, and although I have not been in a contract with them for a very long time, I have no intention of switching now.
So, is it worth it? Does using an unlocked phone actually make that much of a difference? I really am curious to know the benefits of using such a phone.

I own an iPhone. There appears to be alot of hype about unlocking it so it can be used on different networks. Do you know any reason to unlock the iPhone?
