Malignant mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer caused by exposure to asbestos that affects the membranes that surround many of the vital organs in your body.

There are multiple forms of mesothelioma, one of the most doomon forms is pleural mesothelioma, which affects the lungs. Each year almost 3,000 people are diagnoses with malignant mesothelioma.

The sad part? Many of the cases of mesothelioma could have been prevented if we, as a society, had just held corporations more accountable for the products they manufactured. They knew asbestos was dangerous and did nothing about it.
