Gilligan’s Island Debuts On CBS
On this day in 1964, Gilligan’s Island made it’s television debut. Here’s the original intro from the pilot episode.
Was it just me, or did each person’s title not really fit their character? Seriously. The Skipper could have been a chef, Gilligan could have sold personalized pens, the Professor… Don’t even get me started on that guy… And what’s up with Mary Ann? She never really seemed like the innocent little farm girl she made herself out to be.
