Monday Night FootBall Debuts

Thirty seven years ago today, Monday Night Football debuted on ABC. What was it with the 70’s and the cheesy opening graphics on the shows? Here is a clip from the opening for Monday Night Football from 1973. I tell you what, that stuff is enough to give you a migraine.

I’ve never really “followed” football. I love the Super Bowl, but that’s about it for me. I don’t follow any sports really, except NASCAR, although I do watch the Stanley Cup playoffs, and March Madness.
